Death In Vegas Announce First Album In Nine Years 'Death Mask'

Friday, 04 April 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Death In Vegas will return this year with their first album in nine years.

The Richard Fearless-led electronic group will release 'Death Mask' through Drone on June 6, marking their first full-length release since 2016's 'Transmission'. Confirming the news with a post on social media, Fearless wrote:

"Over the last few years I’ve been dealing with the loss of loved ones and trying to navigate the world in all its insanity. I’ve been finding solace in power electronics, soaking in Ramleh’s ‘Hole in Heart' to the machine funk of Terrance Dixon’s Population One, the unflinching wonk of Jamal Moss, the stunning minimalism of Ø inhaling the deepest Dub, drowning in the acid soaked TLM 404 and Mark Ernestus’ distilled dub. My radio show, Metal Box, conjuring the magic at Goo, all these ingredients have been feeding the evolving creature that is Death in Vegas.

"Death in Vegas will be touring from May this year. We look forward to shaking the foundations somewhere near you."

The project will feature the newly shared seven-minute title track, and the previously unveiled While My Machines Gently Weep, both of which offer a trippy blend of electronic and industrial influences, with throbbing bass-heavy beats and gritty droning effects.

Death In Vegas will play EartH Theatre in London on June 21 as part of a short run of European dates. Tickets are on sale now.
