Man/Woman/Chainsaw have shared a new single, Adam & Steve.
The melodic track balances discordant guitars with lighter orchestral notes that interweave piano and strings with dual lead vocals from singers Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen. Ward said:
"We wrote Adam & Steve last year and it’s our own bittersweet take on the heart-on-sleeve love song. It comes from a place of wanting to find a little fairy tale escapism in modern romance."
Recorded at RAK Studios with Geordie Greep producer Seth Evans and Margo Broom, it'll feature as one half of a double a-side release arriving via So Young Records later this spring, though the second song and its release date is still to be revealed.
The buzzy London band dropped their six-track debut EP, 'Eazy Peazy', last November. It features the singles The Boss, Grow A Tongue In Time, and Ode To Clio.
They'll play UK shows this month and next, ahead of spring festival appearances, including The Great Escape in Brighton and Bearded Theory in Derbyshire. They'll also play End Of The Road in Dorset and Victorious Festival in Portsmouth in the summer. Tickets are on sale now.
