Cynthia Erivo has announced her second album.
The British multi-hyphenate will release 'I Forgive You' through Verve Records/Republic Records on June 6, following up 2021's 'Ch. 1 Vs. 1'.
Alongside the record announcement, she's revealed that a new song, Worst Of Me, will arrive tomorrow (April 11), following up February's single Replay, which marked her first solo release in four years. Taking to Instagram to confirm the news, she wrote:
"I Forgive You, my second album will be out June 6th. Over the last 2+ years, between all the flights, the filming, the interviews, and the awards shows, I went to the studio with my dear friend @williamfwells and created this project for you and me.
"This album, this collection of songs, is something I’m so proud to share with you. First with Replay, and now/today/tonight with Worst of Me. I gave you one chapter with the first album, and now I have a couple more for you. Thank you in advance for coming with me on this journey."
The announcement follows the success of the 2024 box office blockbuster Wicked, which Erivo starred in alongside Ariana Grande.
