Stereophonics are itching to get back on the road to perform tracks from their upcoming seventh studio album, 'Keep Calm and Carry On'.
The band announced an intimate London gig this week, taking place at Camden's Electric Ballroom on September 21st. It will be their first gig in the English capital for 2009 - and of course it promptly sold out.
Richard Jones said: "It's been a good year so far. The album came together in the usual casual Stereophonics way and after a short stint in the studio it was finished before we knew it.
"We are all busting to get it out there and to play it live. So over the next few months you'll probably seeing, reading and hearing more from us in various different guises!"
Tickets for Stereophonics afternoon homecoming show at Cardiff Castle on October 3rd also sold out in an astonishing 40 minutes.
It should be a busy year for Stereophonics, 'Keep Calm and Carry On' is released November 16th. A UK arena tour is expected to be announced in due course.
