Good ol’ cheeky ol’ pop-chappy Robbie Williams has donned his touring truss and is taking that thing that he does around the UK, in a tour kind of thing. When he last toured, Williams sold more than 1.6 Million tickets in a single day. Similar madness is due to ensue again. Click here for tickets.
When he left Take That, they said he’d never make it. “Robbie Williams?” They said. “On his Own? It wont work,” they said. Then they laughed about it. 70 Million albums worldwide, and Robbie being one of the best-selling UK artists ever, later they’re probably feeling the embarrassing shame-tide of wrongness, feeling it hard.
Also, as you may have noticed from another article on this site, he might be getting back with the old band again. Not before his current tour of course, but it may happen. He is also due to open the Electric Proms and feature on X Factor. Mr Williams is big news right now. Just in time for his tour too; what a happy coincidence.
The tour dates something like as follows:
Dublin Croke Park – tba 2010
Brussels Belgium - tba 2010
Paris Parc des Princes - tba 2010
Amsterdam Arena Holland - tba 2010
Milan San Siro Italy - tba 2010
