Loveable French rogues Air have released a new album and are touring to make sure you bloody well know about it. ‘Love 2’ is the electro-pop merchants’ fifth studio album and a follow up to 2007’s much loved ‘Rocket Symphony’ and is produced in their very own state-of-the-art recording shack, Atlas Studios. Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin need a fancy studio to produce their trademark sound. Like a pop Jean Michelle Jarre, only good, Air are best known for their ambient hits ‘Sexy Boy’ and ‘Watch the Stars’. British fans can get to see their Gallic beaus in a one-off UK concert in London at the Roundhouse next year - Feb 26th 2010.
Now, 'Air' is a lovely name and everything, but they really didn’t think about how hard that makes them to find on the Internet. If anyone happens to go to the Roundhouse gig in February, be sure to raise this in the question and answers section at the end. I assume they have one.
Suggest they change their name to The ‘Chutney Shatzoids’. That’s a Googlewhack, no-one else has that. They'll thank you for it.
