Old wobbly gob is back and this time the uber-Diva is giving her first proper tour in more than eleven years. The lungs on this queen of pop are simply remarkable, she is one woman who has no problem being heard at the back. Sometimes it’s tricky not killing the people at the front, but it’s the way they’d want to go. Click here for Whitney Houston tickets.
To call her successful is like calling Jaws a bit bitey. If Whitney Houston gave back all the money she’s earned over the years, she’d solve the credit crunch. It would also be nice if she could give back ‘The Bodyguard’ too, but it happened and we just have to move on.
Along with her classic tracks, Whitney (see, that’s a sign of silly success, it seems more normal to call her by her first name, instead of the standard journalistic ‘Houston’) will be performing tracks from her latest album-shaped offering ‘I Look to You’. That particular album will be unleashed on the UK on October 19th.
She’ll also be appearing on X-Factor next weekend. This probably means some starry-eyed hopeful will be simultaneously blubbering uncontrollably and babbling incoherently. Now that’s good telly.
Whitney will be touring:
8 Apr - Evening News Arena, Manchester
11 Apr - SECC, Glasgow
13 Apr - LG Arena, Birmingham
22 Apr - Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
25 Apr - The O2 Arena, London
