The hair’s still big, the guitar’s still loud, the screaming fans may have to stop for a coughing fit but there’s another generation there to back them up. Like it or not, Bon Jovi are huge. I might even capitalize that… yep, I will. They’re HUGE. And on tour, of course. Click here for tickets.
They started in 1983 and haven’t stopped yet. Formed in Sayreville, New Jersey which, before it spawned Bon Jovi, was best known for its famous duck pond; the Duck’s Nest Pond. It was, apparently, a very good pond. It’s dried up now. The same can’t be said for Bon Jovi.
Their tour will bounce them around America and Canada, with a quick nip across the pond to the UK. The stadium-fillers will be playing at the O2 Arena. The O2 Arena was formerly known as The Millennium Dome, but was re-branded and reopened with a concert by Bon Jovi back in 2007. Now they’re playing there again. Their tour is called the Circle Tour. You can tell they’ve thought this through.
Their tour, plus a November 09 date, will look like this:
03 Nov - BBC Radio Theatre, London
07 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
08 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
Woah-oooh! We’re half-way there!
10 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
11 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
13 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
