Scouting For Girls Announce Intimate UK Tour & Ticket Details

Scouting for Girls have announced a series of Christmas parties running through November and December. Girls may be present. The band will be previewing songs from their first album, as well as chucking a few new ones from the forthcoming new album, which they’re being all coy about but have promised news soon.
The so-cheery-you-want-something-bad-to-happen-to-them, piano-led indie London boys have been making music since 2005. They have a habit of making songs that are catchier and more infectious than the sniffles. They won Best New Act in the 2008 MTV Europe Music awards and their self-titled debut album went to number 1 in the UK.
When they didn’t win the BRITs, they gave away songs on their website and encouraged fans to give money to Comic Relief. That’s the levels of cheer we’re dealing with here. Seriously, it can’t only be me who thinks that deserves punishment. Nothing fatal, just a stomach bug, failing stocks, or a stubbed toe. Anyone?
It’s just me, isn’t it? Fine.
The gigs are:
Nov 30 - The Tabernacle, London
Dec 02 - Night and Day, Manchester
Dec 03 - King Tuts, Glasgow
The Christmas gigs are apparently only for fans (although if you weren’t a fan, why would you go?) and are available exclusively through http://scoutingforgirlstickets.sandbag.uk.com/Store/
