Grammy nominated artist Imogen Heap is on tour. One of these days, I’ll write about someone who hasn’t been nominated for something. I’ll call that day A-Day. I’m not saying Imogen Heap doesn’t deserve it, far from it, she did fun things in Frou Frou and as a solo artist, she’s talented, interesting and nice to listen to... I’ll shut up about it. Click here for Imogen Heap tickets.

Aside from being a song-writer of chunky renown, Heap is also in demand as a remixer. Heap loves crafting and playing with sounds, in a 2005 interview, she said “I love crafting and playing with sounds.” She recorded her and her boyfriend making and eating dinner and put the sound of a frying pan into the track ‘Hide & Seek’. “People might think it sounds like rain, but it’s a frying pan. Certain sounds give the music a width and a space, and that’s important."

The Imogen Heap Three-Fact Extravaganza:
1 - She released her entire album ‘Elipse’ for Live streaming from her website in August.
2 - With the help of her fans, she raised over £1000 for charity by entering a 10k run and came 5th out of the women who raced.
3 - On the song ‘Now or Never’ which she co-wrote and produced with Josh Groban, she played all the instruments.
