Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Stuns Home Depot Shoppers

One of the most iconic frontmen in rock, Steven Tyler, has performed a bizarre karaoke session at a Home Depot store in America.

The Aerosmith singer’s voice has certainly graced some stunning hits and deafened some massive venues in the past, however during the last few months the wayward singer’s mad behaviour has gotten more attention than his music.

Having entered rehab some time ago for addiction to painkillers, Tyler had been persistent in claiming he was once again clean. However last year during a performance in the United States the singer fell from the stage, setting off rumours that he was using drugs again.

Since the fall, the relationship between Aerosmith and their singer has not been well at all. Some reports claimed that they were no longer in contact with the front man and that Tyler had departed from the group.

Although such gossip has been discounted, there are still persistent rumours that Steven Tyler is using drugs. A bizarre feature in Rolling Stone Magazine hasn’t helped such rumours having reported the singer inhaling helium and performing some bizarre karaoke.

The report claims that Steven Tyler entered a Home Depot store in California and took control of the tannoy system. The story continues to describe how the singer performed ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady)’ and ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’ to stunned shoppers within the store.

Possibly looking for more amusement the frontman then started inhaling helium and singing in a high-pitched voice to the utter amazement of onlookers. Rolling Stone Magazine quotes one employer as saying the story is definitely not faked. “It’s true. It’s not phony.”

Aerosmith are currently auditioning for a new singer, with Steven Tyler apparently waiting to have surgery on his leg.
