Bluesman Stephen Dale Petit Schedules Summer UK Tour & Tickets

London-based pioneer in new blues music Stephen Dale Petit has announced a summer tour of the UK, and what’s even better, its cheap as hell!
Born in California the awesome guitarist moved to London when he was barely 20 years old. Having lived through and survived the rock’n’roll lifestyle of drugs and alcohol, he has become a major figure in the New Blues Revolution. He has even played guitar alongside legends such as Eric Clapton, David Gilmour and B.B. King!
Stephen Dale Petit composed and financed his hugely acclaimed debut album ‘Guitararama’ whilst busking on the London Undeground. In doing so, Petit followed the path of many Blues greats. Petit once spoke about his busking days saying: “Knowing that Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, Lonnie Johnson, Blind Lemon Jefferson etc all did it, made what is essentially doing it the hard way feel like it was the only right way to start.”
Soon attracting massive media attention, the bluesman earnt huge popularity in the UK from his fantastic BLUnivErSity tour back in 2007, which mixed live performances with a lecture on the history and relevance of the blues in modern music.
His new UK run begins with a show at the 100 Club in London in June and then continues in July in Bristol, then rolling into Oxford, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle before finishing up at London’s Academy in Islington.
The man is an incredible showperson and his guitar work will have you gobsmacked throughout the evening.
