You Me At Six have answered the public demand to see the band live and announced a second UK tour for 2010. This time around it will see the band visit bigger venues, including a gig at London’s Hammersmith HMV Apollo.
The Weybridge band will be playing to support the release of their January-released second album ‘Hold Me Down’ which spawned the emergence of the group’s first Top 5 hit, entering the charts as the second highest new entry of the week.
A fast rising emo quintet from Surrey who’s sound of catchy melodies, snappy lyrics and leg-shaking instrumentals has captured a now huge following. As a result, You Me At Six’s last tour, which rolled out in March, saw them play to an audience of over 25,000 people and ended with their first packed-out headline show at London’s Brixton Academy.
The annoucement of the band’s new tour has been made to satisfy the huge demand to see the group play live, now fans will be able to see YMAS on another tour later this year. Kicking off the shows at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange on December 5, the group will finish the six-date jaunt on December 16 with a gig at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
