Young Knives are haved leaked their own music to announce their comeback and forthcoming third album.
The song, I Love My Name, is a demo from their album sessions and is available to listen to on the trio’s site – youngknives.com. Lead singer Henry Dartnall commented on the track: “This last year we have been writing and demoing songs for a third album. We wanted to give you a taster of the new material by putting up one of the demos.”
The frontman explained that the new track was about how a name is “one of the only things that you really have all your life, everything else about you moves and changes”. The Leicestershire band are to tour and preview new material in a series of low key shows in May at Keele University (6th), Aldershot Palace (7th) and Leicester Music Café (8th).
