Hardy, born Michael Wilson Hardy, is a country music singer and songwriter from Philadelphia, Mississippi.
After graduating from school, Hardy took a trip to Nashville, Tennessee with his sister, where he pursued a songwriting career, also becoming a writing partner of the country music duo Florida Georgia Line. Among the songs that Hardy wrote include Up Down by Morgan Wallen, and on the success of the track, Hardy was signed to Big Loud Records in 2018. Hardy have released two studio albums, two EPs, two mixtapes, and eight singles, the latest being Quit!!, released in January 2024, which is also the namesake of his newly announced tour. Hardy will take the Quit!! Tour across the US in spring and summer 2024. He'll also play his first stadium and biggest headline show to date in the fall, returning to his home state to perform at Mississippi State University's Dudy Noble Field in Starkville on September 12.
