He's also well known for playing Grace Adler's husband Leo Markus in the sitcom Will and Grace, as well as roles in Memphis Belle, Copycat, Independence Day, and his first lead in Hope Floats with Sandra Bullock, alongside many other films. Not just a singer and actor, Connick wrote the soundtrack to When Harry Met Sally, leading him to achieve double-platinum status in the United States and his first Grammy Award for Best Jazz Male Vocal Performance.
