KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco funk band from Hialeah, Florida, featuring Harry Wayne Casey, and a variety of musicians. They are best known for hits such as That's the Way (I Like It), (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty, I'm Your Boogie Man, Keep It Comin' Love, Get Down Tonight, Boogie Shoes, Please Don't Go and Give It Up.

Formed in 1973, by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch, the group released their debut album, ‘Do It Good’, in 1974. The band got their breakthrough with their second self-titled album, released in 1975, which reached #4 in the Billboard Hot 200. The band’s fourth album, ‘Part 3’, which came out in 1976 was also a hit, reaching the Top Twenty in the chart. In 1981 the partnership between Finch and Casey came to an end and the band split in 1985. Casey reformed the group in 1993, releasing three more albums, the latest being their twelfth, ‘Yummy’, in 2007.
