Rebecca Black is a singer and viral Internet star from Irvine, California.

First shooting to fame at the age of 14, when her notorious debut single Friday became a viral meme. The song's music video racked up hundreds of millions of views, and was revealed as YouTube's #1 most-viewed upload of 2011.

She put out a handful of singles over the course of several years, before self-releasing 'RE / BL' in 2017, though remained largely out of the spotlight until the following year, when she appeared as a contestant on season 2 of musical reality TV competition The Four: Battle For Stardom. Though she was eliminated from the show, it assisted in helping shed her child star image and start to record the music that she truly wants to make, and her debut album, 'Let Her Burn', then arrived in 2023. She's due to follow it with 'Salvation' in January 2025.
