James Blunt has had a parady website, where users can throw tomatoes at him, shut down.
The singers record label shut down the site where his No.1 single 'You're Beautiful' had its lyrics changed to 'You're Gullible'.
The lyrics on the song were changed to:
"You're gullible, you're gullible you're gullible, it's true you saw my face on a CD case And the next thing that you knew You had joined the brainwashed queue "
Luckily we've managed to find the site hosting the game, but they've been forced to go 'silent', but check out the lyrics :-). http://eclectech.co.uk/gullible.php
"I have quite a high score on that website. I cleared over 100 points." said the singer.
Blunt isn't too concerned with the slating he has to take though, "I think it's there, it's prevalent, and so if something has put its head above the parapet, people will take a shot at it, and that's the industry in which we're in. I totally expect that."
No James, it's not because you're 'out there', and it's not always part of the territory. It's probably because you whine a lot about love, you're an annoying rich army boy and all your songs sound the same.
Blunty is playing to some 'fans' this summer at the following venues.
June 2006 30 Leeds Harewood House
July 2006 1 Oxford Blenheim Palace 2 Maidstone Leeds Castle
