A limited edition photographic autobiography of Jimmy Page is to be published later next month.
Jimmy Page is one of the most influential guitarists in history. From his early days with The Yardbirds, through his time with the iconic Led Zeppelin, up to his 2008 performance at the Beijing Olympics closing ceremony, the stunning book captures every aspect of Page’s musical career.
The photographs included in the book have all been hand picked by Jimmy Page following two years of looking through many thousands of pictures. The book features a total of 650 photos, some rare and unseen, all accompanied by captions which were also written by the guitarist. In addition to the content, the book’s binding has also been designed by the musician, with each copy getting Page’s autograph too.
The book is to be published by Genesis Publications later next month on September 27th and be prepared to queue around the block for it as only 2500 copies are being printed.
Speaking about the publishers of the book, the former Led Zeppelin guitarist commented, “I’ve really got a lot of time for the way Genesis produce their books, they’re really quality items”.
