After a break of 10 years, the multimillion selling, BRIT winning pop band Steps are back. Claire, ‘H’, Faye, Lisa and Lee have reunited for a new album and a huge return to the live circuit with ‘The Ultimate Tour’ set for April 2012. The album and the tour will celebrate their biggest, chart topping hits. Steps Tickets for their 2012 Reunion Tour are onsale from 9AM TODAY, Friday October 14th.
The Ultimate Collection and Tour marks the return of one of Britain’s best loved bands. From their first hit, ‘5, 6, 7, 8,’ Steps went on to have 14 consecutive Top Five hits. Memorable chart toppers included ‘Tragedy’, ‘One For Sorrow’ and ‘Heartbeat’.
Their first album, ‘Step One’ was certified five times platinum, cementing their position as the UK’s biggest pop sensations. Their next album, ‘Steptacular’, featuring smash hits ‘Love’s Got A Hold Of My Heart’ and ‘After The Love Has Gone’, helped the album go four times platinum. In total, across four albums, Steps sold an astonishing 15 million records.
