Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine is outraged following the revelation that Global Live Events, the company that organised the recent Michael Forever tribute concert that was held in Cardiff, has gone bust - leaving staff, artists and possibly charities unpaid.
When Katherine found out about the news she was left upset and unhappy that she had worked with the company, not knowing they would fail to pay the workers or artists who performed wonderfully in tribute of her late son Michael.
Katherine’s lawyer told TMZ: “After Mrs. Jackson did all she could to help promote and make this a great event for all of Michael's fans, and she is extremely displeased to hear that concert promoters have allegedly failed to pay their bills. Katherine is hoping that they step up and take care of their obligations.”
Stereoboard broke the news after a Twitter user named Dom Pisani revealed that some staff that worked for the company during the Michael Forever concert were still unpaid and the company had gone bust. After hearing that Katherine had spoken out about the failure to pay, he tweeted a message thanking her for support – “Good to have the support of the Jacksons... #unpaidMJTalentTeam”
