Jonathan Richman, founding member of proto-punk garage rock band The Modern Lovers, has announced solo shows for 2012.
A unique American artist, Jonathan Richman is rash, but at the same time sensitive, melancholy, but full of humour. He's been appreciated since the middle of the 70s, when he formed The Modern Lovers, however, more recently Richman has become a solo artist crafting music that blends folk and country.
Jonathan has confirmed a UK tour for February and March 2012, the tour will include three nights in the capital.
