"Very Violent" Madonna Stalker Escapes From LA Psychiatric Hospital

A homeless drifter who was jailed for ten years in 1996 for stalking Madonna has escaped from a psychiatric hospital.
Robert Dewey Hoskins, who has been described as “very violent”, was put behind bars after he threatened to attack Madonna, saying he would "slice" the pop superstar's throat "from ear to ear". He also once scaled the walls around her LA home, jumped into her pool before getting shot twice by a security guard.
Labelled as a "mentally-disturbed offender", Hoskins was sent to the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk last year after he was arrested by police again in July. According to the LA Police Department, Hoskins walked out of the hospital unnoticed yesterday, Thursday 9th February.
A spokesman told The AP: "Hoskins is highly psychotic when not taking his medication and has very violent tendencies. He could be in the Los Angeles area."
During Hoskins' 1996 trial, Madonna testified and told the court she suffered from recurring nightmares because of the drifters actions in 1995.

Supporting new studio album 'MDNA' (set for release on 26th March), Madonna has confirmed three huge shows for the UK and Ireland in July. Madonna will play London's Hyde Park on Tuesday 17th July, followed by a Scottish show at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday 21st July. The iconic singer will then head over to Ireland for a show at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Tuesday 24th July.
