If anyone’s thought about how much money Adele must be making at the moment, here’s a piece of news that’ll give you a little bit of an indication – the superstar soul singer has now applied for a helicopter license to fly in and out of her new £7million luxury mansion. Because it’s too big to use cars.
According to British tabloid paper The Sun, Adele is actually ‘tired’ of using cars to travel in and out of her property as she has ‘so much land’, and is now looking into using helicopters to get around. We’ve got to admit, it would be pretty cool having your own helicopter – we’re jealous.
A source close the singer told the paper: “Adele's property has so much land she thought, 'Why not?' It will cut down her journey time by some distance and it also means she won't have to rely so heavily on cars. She's a busy woman and needs to get to places with minimal disruption.”
In recent news, Adele admitted that she ’had a soft spot’ for the BRIT Awards, which take place tonight, after her performance at last year’s ceremony helped spark her sensational rise to international stardom. I’d have a soft spot for anything that got me a £7million mansion and a helicopter!
