The Stone Roses and The Killers Confirmed For V Festival 2012

Organisers of V Festival, which takes place in August over two sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire, has tonight unveiled it's star-studded 2012 line-up.
The 2012 V Festival is set to feature headline performances from the likes of The Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Killers, and Snow Patrol. Also on the bill are Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran and Tom Jones. The promising line-up was announced shortly after 10:00pm tonight, Sunday 27th February.
The line-up for V Festival 2011 so far has been announced as follows:

Speaking of the announcement, festival director Simon Moran of SJM Concerts said: "We're really delighted with the lineup this year. We have a great mix of artists topping a bill that will see the welcome return to live performance of Manchester's finest export [The Stone Roses], along with some of the biggest acts in the music industry. The mix of established and exciting breakthrough acts promises to give festival goers a cracking weekend."
Gig-goers hoping to snap-up tickets for this Summer's festival will have to be quick after V Festival 2011 completely sold-out within an astonishingly fast 1 hour and 20 minutes.
