The xx are to return to the live stage later this month, announcing three intimate live shows in London.
2010 Mercury Prize winners The xx are known for their captivating stripped-down minimalist sound. You could day that a rule of "quiet is the new loud" applies for The xx and they are certainly among the best at creating intense atmospheric music.
With vocals at almost a whisper, their delicate songs will be perfect for the three intimate dates The xx have lined up for later this month. The three London shows will take place at London's Electrowerkz, Chats Palace and Battersea Arts Centre.
The xx 2012 UK Live Dates are as follows:
May 14th - Electrowerkz London
May 15th - Chats Palace London
May 18th - Battersea Arts Centre London
