Hip-hop and grime star Tinie Tempah has revealed that the collaborations on his forthcoming new album are ‘very British’ – as well as telling fans that the record has been inspired by his live performances.
Tempah’s career has blown up in the last year or two and last summer saw him perform at a number of music festivals, as well as touring across the UK – something which has apparently influenced his soon-come sophomore album ‘Demonstration’. Speaking to Capital FM, Tempah has opened up about what fans can expect with the new record.
“[There’s] definitely a lot more electronic music with a little bit more of a live influence off the back of all the festivals and Summertime Balls and Christmas balls,” Tempah explained. “Going with a live band I've realised has a lot and adds a lot of impact to the music so there's a lot of electronic music with live instruments on top but the collaborations are still very British.”
Confirmed collaborations for the album include tracks with Dizzy Rascal and Calvin Harris.
