Depeche Mode To Announce World Tour On Tuesday 23rd October

A German fan site has reported that Depeche Mode will hold a Paris press conference on October 23rd to officially announce the dates of their 2013 world tour. Tickets are set to go on sale soon after.
The British trio have had 48 songs in the UK Singles Chart and twelve Top 10 albums in the UK charts, two of which debuted at Number 1. According to EMI, Depeche Mode have sold over 100 million albums and singles worldwide, making them the most successful electronic band in music history. Q magazine calls Depeche Mode "The most popular electronic band the world has ever known" and included the band in the list of the "50 Bands That Changed The World!"
During a DJ gig in Italy in November 2011, Andy Fletcher revealed that the band were set to meet up in January 2012 to start planning the new studio album, , and said that they were aiming to commence recording in March with a tour to follow in 2012 and 2013.
