Basement Jaxx recently announced the release of their new single, What A Difference Your Love Makes, introducing the vocals of folk-soul artist Sam Brookes
Penned by the Jaxx with a hand from Chicago house legend DJ Sneak on a drizzly evening six months ago, the track is the complete antithesis of the weather conditions that day.
Directed Damian Weilers and filmed in South Africa's oldest township, Alexandra in Johannesburg, the video features the "Pantsula" dance, a form of dance that first became popular in the '80s and is still practised by the young, fashionable and rebellious in the townships.
What A Difference Your Love Makes is released on September 30, on 37 Adventures.
