Interpol Announce September Release For 'El Pintor'

Interpol have announced a September release for ‘El Pintor’, the long-awaited follow up to their self-titled 2010 effort.

Produced by the band and recorded at Electric Lady Studios and Atomic Sound in New York City, the record will arrive on September 8 through Matador.

Featuring contributions from the Secret Machines’ Brandon Curtis, who played keys on nine songs, Beck collaborator Roger Joseph Manning Jr and Rob Moose of Bon Iver, ‘El Pintor’ was mixed and mastered by Alan Moulder and Greg Calbi.

Interpol, meanwhile, will play Glastonbury this month, following a one-off warm up show at Camden’s Electric Ballroom on June 25.
