Queen and Adam Lambert are poised to tour the UK in the near future, following the release of unheard Freddie Mercury tracks on 'Queen Forever'.
Brian May and Roger Taylor confirmed the news during an interview with BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans on Friday morning, saying that their “finger [is] a millimetre from the button” in terms of announcing dates for a European follow up to their recent run with the former American Idol contestant. Taylor said:
“We’ve just had one of the best tours we’ve ever done, we’ve been to America, Canada, Australia, Asia and New Zealand. We’ve got this amazing singer and it’s a good show. We thought we’d carry on and do Europe and the UK.”
May and Taylor also unveiled three unheard songs - including There Must Be More to Life Than This, a duet between Mercury and Michael Jackson - from their forthcoming ‘Queen Forever’ album, which is out on November 10.
The record will also feature the previously unfinished Let Me In Your Heart Again, a leftover from 'The Works' sessions, and a ballad version of Mercury’s Giorgio Moroder collaboration Love Kills. Head here to listen to the show.
