First Artists Announced For BluesFest 2015

Tuesday, 10 February 2015 Written by Jon Stickler

Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jo Harman and Dave Matthews Band are the first acts confirmed for this year's BluesFest.

Marking its 5th anniversary with a move from the Royal Albert Hall to Greenwich's O2 Arena complex, BluesFest 2015 takes place from November 6 to 8.

All performing on November 7, Grammy-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band will play the IndigO2, while British blues star Jo Harman takes to the stage at the Brooklyn Bowl. Meanwhile, Dave Matthews Band, who also play a short run of headline shows in the autumn, will top the bill that day within the arena.

Festival Director Leo Green says:

“This move is a clear statement of ambition from all involved in BluesFest. Having grown exponentially over the last four years, it became clear that it was time to find a new and bigger home to cater to the growing demand for BluesFest. We look forward to bringing some fantastic artists to The O2 in London this autumn and for years to come."

Tickets are on sale at 9am on February 13 with further acts to be announced in the coming months. For more details head to bluesfest.co.uk.
