Gregory Porter has shared a video for Consequence of Love.
The track features on the American singer's new album, 'Take Me To The Alley', which came out in May via Decca Records. Discussing the song, Porter said:
"The simmering Consequence of Love is a mid-tempo ballad that deals with the power and irrationality of love. Love is ruled by itself. But sometimes we get in the way of love through governmental policies, race-relations, distance, and adolescent thinking. Anytime two people love each other, let it be."
Porter will return to the UK next month for BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, where he will appear on the bill alongside Elton John, Status Quo, Madness, LeAnn Rimes, Jamie Lawson, Andreya Triana and Travis. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £42.00 plus fees.
