Titled Solita, the slow-burning, Latin-influenced track was produced by Tainy and marks the Colombian-American R&B singer's first new music since her 2018 debut album 'Isolation', collaborations and covers aside. Discussing the song's inspiration, she said:
"I'd rather dance alone than with the devil. This song is about healing, freedom and embracing the mixed emotions that come with that. I hope my fans feel sexy when they listen to it. I’m so excited to share more."
The song also serves as Uchis' first bilingual single and the first preview of her forthcoming second full-length. Although there are no details yet, the album is excepted to arrive sometime next year.
