Don McLean Joins The Long Road Festival Line-Up As Saturday Headliner

A second wave of acts has been revealed for the 2024 edition of The Long Road.
Legendary singer-songwriter Don McLean (pictured) will top Saturday's bill with a UK exclusive show, joining Sunday's Rhinestone main stage headliner Russell Dickerson.
Other additions include Paula Cole, who will mark her first ever performance in the UK, Nashville’s Ron Pope, The National Parks, Alan Power and The Take Twos, Campbell Jensen, Liverpool's Robert Vincent and Louisiana's Dylan LeBlanc.
Also among the new acts confirmed today is Katie Pruitt, Brooke Eden, Toby Sebastian, Gangstagrass, Dolly Mavies, Gasoline and Matches and Joe Martin.
They join an already mammoth line-up that features Wyatt Flores, Flatland Cavalry, Randall King, Red Clay Strays, American Aquarium, Chapel Hart, Pokey Lafarge, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Colbie Caillat, Brittney Spencer, Remember Monday, Jamie Lawson and more across the festival’s five stages and creative performance spaces, plus stage takeovers hosted by Loose Music and Color Me Country with Rissi Palmer.
Commenting on his return to the UK, McLean said:
"I am delighted to return to England to perform at The Long Road Festival. Since I have decided to stop doing bus tours of distant destinations, I will still return for special performances. I love England and look forward to seeing my audience again."
Following a sold out event in 2023, the country, Americana and roots music festival will return to Stanford Hall, Leicestershire in August.
