The Mysterines Share New Single The Last Dance Ahead Of 'Afraid Of Tomorrows' Release

The Mysterines have shared a new single, The Last Dance.
The expansive, foreboding track serves as the opener of the Merseyside rock band's new John Congleton-produced album, 'Afraid Of Tomorrows', due out this Friday (June 21) via Fiction Records. Vocalist Lia Metcalfe commented:
"I suppose it’s an analogy for what loneliness can do to you. Once you’ve exhausted all the dark alleyways of drugs and alcohol, you end up reaching for something to connect to that isn’t real."
It follows the already shared Sink Ya Teeth and Stray in previewing the LP, which the group will support with a previously scheduled UK and European tour in the autumn.
Ahead of the trek, they'll support Bloc Party at their 20th anniversary Crystal Palace Park, London show on July 7. The Mysterines will also appear at various festivals this summer, including 2000trees, Truck Festival and Tramlines.
