Paul Heaton Announces New Album 'The Mighty Several' And Winter UK Tour

Paul Heaton has announced a new album that he'll support with a UK tour.
The former Beautiful South and Housemartins vocalist will release 'The Mighty Several' on October 11, following up his 2022 LP 'N.K-Pop' with Jacqui Abbott.
It was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Salford and produced by Ian Broudie of the Lightning Seeds. It features Heaton performing alongside his band and guest vocalists, including his now regular live vocalist Rianne Downey, as well as Yvonne Shelton and Danny Muldoon, who are pictured on the album cover with Heaton.
As a preview, he's shared the earworm track Fish 'N' Chip Supper, which offers up his darkly humourous storytelling, with a distinctly British flair.
Heaton will support the record with a winter UK tour, which will stop in Bridlington, Leeds, Glasgow, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle and London, where he'll conclude the run at the Eventim Apollo on December 10.
He'll be performing tracks from throughout his career, including the works of his previous bands, with the aforementioned Downey, and opening the shows will be special guests The Zutons. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am next Friday (June 28).
The announcement arrives ahead of Heaton's set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury festival next Friday (June 28).
