Charli XCX Drops New Version Of Girl, so confusing Featuring Lorde

Charli XCX has shared a new version of Girl, so confusing.
Dubbed The Girl, so confusing, the latest iteration features Lorde, which is a surprise move considering the original was written about how the English singer had previously, and unsuccessfully, tried to connect with the New Zealand star.
Lorde replaces the track's second verse to explain the reason for her not reciprocating was that she was going through personal issues: "I was so lost in my head, And scared to be in the pictures, 'Cause for the last couple years, I've been at war in my body." She also shows her affection for the Essex native: "I'm glad I know how you feel, 'Cause I ride for you, Charli."
Girl, so confusing appears on Charli XCX's new album, 'BRAT', which came out on June 7, with an expanded version featuring three new songs following just a few days later.
In support of the record, the multi-hyphenate artist will take the Sweat Tour across North America with Troye Sivan in September and October. That run will be followed by The BRAT Tour, which will travel to arenas across the UK this winter. Tickets are on sale.
