Radiohead & The Killers On Tory Leader Cameron's Desert Island Songs

David Cameron has placed tracks by Radiohead, The Killers, The Smiths, REM and Pink Floyd on his list of songs for Radio 4's Desert Island Discs.
The Tory Leader also revealed that Bob Dylan, Benny Hill and Mendelssohn would also feature on a 'hypothetical' selection of music if her were ever stranded on a desert island.
Cameron chose Radiohead's 'Fake Plastic Trees' because it was his favourite Radiohead song, The Killers 'All These Things That I've Done' inspired the politician on his way to becoming Tory leader and 'This Charming Man' by Morrissey as "an iconic moment".
Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' was chosen for the "happy times at university", while REM's 'Perfect Circle' reminded Cameron of "falling in love".
His choices were as follows:
Tangled Up in Blue, by Bob Dylan - "Him at his most poetic".
Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West) by Benny Hill - "The only song the words to which I can remember".
Wish You Were Here, by Pink Floyd - Reminds him of "happy times at university".
On Wings of Song, by Mendelssohn - "Sung at our wedding... the happiest day of my life".
Fake Plastic Trees, by Radiohead - "My favourite song by them".
This Charming Man, by The Smiths - Morrissey's appearance on Top of the Pops was "an iconic moment for people of my age and generation".
Perfect Circle, by REM - "Reminds me of driving down to Bristol to (wife Sam's) student flat and falling in love".
All These Things That I've Done, by The Killers - "I listened to it a lot during the leadership election".
