DZ Deathrays are a dance-punk band from Brisbane, Australia.
Primarily consisting of frontman and guitarist Shane Parsons alongside drummer Simon Ridley, the band formed in 2010 and released their debut album, ‘Bloodstreams’, in 2012. They have since gone on to put out a further five studio records, with the most recent being 2023's 'R.I.F.F', and landed support slots with Blood Red Shoes, Foo Fighters and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
