Khalid is an American singer-songwriter based in El Paso, Texas. Born in 1998, he would first emerge as a singer when he performed in the US Army Band, but properly made a name for himself when he launched his single Location, generating a massive amount of buzz for himself.
His debut album, 'American Teen', went on to hit shelves in March 2017, and climbed to the US Top 10. Later in the year he appeared on Why Don't You Come On, a single with DJDS. Khalid has headlined his own shows and tours around the US, Australia, and has received five Grammy nominations. His new album 'Free Spirit' dropped in April 2019, which was supported by dates in the US, UK, Europe and Australia throughout 2019.
