Rush are a prog rock band from Canada that have been at the forefront of the hard rock scene since the 1970s. Their eponymous debut record hit shelves in 1974, but it was their album 'Permanent Waves' that saw them achieve more of a mainstream success. Since then, they've been a household name for any self-respecting rocker.
Rush released their last album, 'Clockwork Angels', in 2012 and in 2019 put out the documentary film Cinema Strangiato: An Annual Exercise In Fan Indulgence. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and have more than 30 records in their back catalogue, including studio and live albums. The band is comprised of frontman Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson, after drummer Neil Peart passed away in January 2020. As well as being regarded as one of world's best rock drummers, Peart released a number of non fiction books that detailed his life behind and beyond the kit, focusing on his travels. He also turned his hand to fiction, releasing the Clockwork Angels series, among others. Keep up to date with all things Rush below on Stereoboard. Set Country & Currency Upcoming Rush Events
