André "3000" Benjamin is a rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer and actor from Atlanta, Georgia.
Best known for being one-half of hip hop duo Outkast alongside Big Boi, he released six studio albums with the rap group, featuring the singles Hey Ya, Ms. Jackson, Roses, So Fresh So Clean and Elevators (Me & You), among others. After the duo split in 2007, he featured on tracks from a number of artists including Killer Mike, Gorillaz and Frank Ocean, before putting out his debut solo record 'New Blue Sun' in 2023, which features is work as a flautist. Also an acclaimed actor, he has landed roles in films such as The Shield, Revolver, Semi-Pro and, notably, the lead role as Jimi Hendrix in All Is by My Side. André 3000 will play a pair of intimate headline shows at London's Jazz Cafe in August 2024, ahead of his appearance at All Points East Festival later that weekend.
