Afie Jurvanen - or, as you probably know him better, Bahamas - is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Toronto, Ontario. Born in 1981, he is a self-taught guitarist as well as vocalist, and is known for his original folk style.
A Juno Award nominee, he released his debut album ‘Pink Strat’ in 2009, pushing him into the limelight. He’s since put together two more records - the latest of which, ‘Bahamas is Afie’, which dropped in August 2014 - and worked with the likes of Jack Johnson, Feist, and Jason Collett. In 2017, he released the single No Wrong, and is soon set to release his new album, 'Earthtones' on January 19 2018. Bahamas has announced a string of UK tour dates for April 2018.
