Black Eyed Peas are a hip hop and R&B group from Los Angeles, California, consisting of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo.
Formed in 1995, the band were fairly successful on the hip hop scene with their first two records—1998's 'Behind The Front' and 2000's 'Bridging The Gap'—but became global superstars in 2003, when they dropped their third album 'Elephunk'. The LP saw the addition of singer Fergie, who made her debut on their breakout track Where Is the Love?, which was the biggest-selling single of the year in the UK. The band went on to gain huge amounts of success all over the world, dropping a further three albums before the departure of Fergie in 2016. As a trio, the group have released three more LPs including, most recently, 'Elevation' in 2022. Their efforts have earned them a host of awards and accolades over the course of their career, including six Grammys.
