The Blue Man Group is a performance art collective, created in New York City, New York.
Originally formed by friends Chris Wink, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton in 1987, the trio began showcasing creative "disturbances" on the streets of New York, wearing blue masks. From there, they eventually landed their own show in the city, and have gone on to launch performances across the world with many different Blue Men participating, including a 14-year residency at Universal Studios Orlando. They also received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2000. The Blue Man Group will tour the UK in autumn 2024.
