Christy Moore is a folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Newbridge, County Kildare.
Having started his music career in 1969, he has released more than 20 studio albums, including his 1969 debut ‘Paddy On The Road’, and his latest LP, 2021's 'Flying Into Mystery'. In 2007, Christy Moore was named Ireland's greatest living musician in RTÉ's People of the Year Awards. Christy Moore tours Ireland in autumn 2024, before heading to Dublin's Vicar Street for a whopping 12-night residency between November 2024 and January 2025.
