Claire Richards is a singer songwriter from London, best known for being in the pop group Steps from 1997 until she left in 2001.

After the split, Richards collaborated with fellow Steps member H. The duo released a handful of singles which all reached top ten status.

Steps reformed in 2011, went on a comeback tour and released a greatest hits collection followed by their fourth studio album, 'Light Up the World', in November 2012. They then went on another hiatus until 2017, when they put out their fifth album 'Tears On The Dancefloor'. They followed it up with 'What The Future Holds' in 2020 and 'What The Future Holds Pt.2', which were supported with arena tours across the UK.

Richards released her debut solo album, 'My Wildest Dreams', in 2019. Her second, 'Euphoria', came out in 2023.
