Cold Specks is the project of Canadian singer-songwriter Ladan Hussein, also known as Al Spx, who’s currently based in London.
Starting her music career in 2009, she released her debut album, ‘I Predict a Graceful Expulsion’, in 2012, for which she was nominated for Polaris Music Prize. Her second album, ‘Neuroplasticity’, in 2014. She featured on Massive Attack’s Dead Editors, which also featured Roots Manuva, from their 2016 'Ritual Spirit' EP.
